At The Optimization Specialists, our journey began not with a grand business plan, but with a connection made through a shared passion for operational excellence. It all started when I (Cristy) was deep into my entrepreneurial journey, helping clients optimize their operations through business coaching and consulting. As I worked on various projects, I realized technical builds were vital to create accountability and visibility, but I found myself facing a particularly challenging project in the oil and gas industry for a company based in Houston, Texas.

I had a vision of how to help, but I needed expertise that was beyond my current skillset. Enter Jon Clark - a connection that would forever change the trajectory of my business. What started as a virtual introduction from a mutual connection turned into a professional relationship where Jon came on board as a contractor, helping me for nearly two years before we became business partners.

During that time, I realized I wanted to make a bigger impact and focus more on systems and operations rather than just coaching and consulting. When I told Jon about my decision to pivot, he asked me, "What do you want to do with this business?" I shared my vision of helping business owners optimize their time, money, and energy through operational excellence. That’s when we decided to go all in - pivoting to what is now known as The Optimization Specialists.

From there, our mission became clear: to help businesses streamline their operations and reduce chaos and overwhelm. Collectively Jon and I have helped hundreds of business owners find more strategic and efficient approaches in their business.  

Fun fact, we’ve only met in person one time, for 20 minutes! We’ve built this entire company virtually - every system, every client interaction, every strategy - has been built remotely. Our work is virtual, and our mission is simple - to help clients all over the world optimize their systems so they can focus on what they do best.

Today, The Optimization Specialists works with business owners to improve operational efficiency. We provide a done-with-you service to build CRMs, operating systems, and streamlined workflows. Our clients are diverse, but they all have one thing in common: they want to work smarter, not harder.
